Artisan Partner Agreement

Konnectam Ltd. (“Konnectam”, “we”, “our”, “us”) operates a platform that connects customers with independent artisans and service providers.

Konnectam facilitates bookings, communication, payments, and related support services.

You acknowledge and agree that:

• You are an independent contractor, not an employee of Konnectam
• Nothing in this Agreement creates employment, partnership, agency, or joint venture
• You are responsible for your taxes, licenses, permits, insurance, tools, transport, and business expenses
• You control how you perform your work, subject to platform standards

To join Konnectam, you may be required to provide:

• Valid government ID
• Phone verification
• Address details
• BVN(where applicable)
• NIN(where applicable)
• Skills/work history
• References or guarantor information
• Business registration (where applicable)

Artisans may receive job requests through Konnectam.

You are not required to accept every request, but once accepted, you agree to:

• Arrive on time
• Perform professionally
• Communicate honestly
• Complete agreed work where reasonably possible

You agree to:

• Treat customers respectfully
• Use safe and lawful work practices
• Maintain proper tools/equipment
• Avoid abusive language or harassment
• Protect customer property
• Leave work areas reasonably clean after service
• Wear any required branding/ID where introduced

Payments may be handled through Konnectam or directly as permitted.

Konnectam may charge commissions or service fees on completed jobs.

Rates may vary by:

• Service type
• Location
• Promotions
• Subscription tier
• Campaign terms

Customers may rate your service.

Your continued access may depend on:

• Quality ratings
• Reliability
• Complaint levels
• Completion rate
• Professional conduct

You agree to avoid unnecessary cancellations.

Repeated issues such as:

• No-show after acceptance
• Late arrival without notice
• Abandoning jobs
• Ignoring confirmed requests

The following are strictly prohibited:

• Theft
• Fraud
• Harassment
• Threats or violence
• Intentional property damage
• Fake identity use
• Requesting payment outside approved methods dishonestly
• Criminal conduct

You agree not to misuse Konnectam by:

• Taking customer details solely to avoid platform fees
• Diverting repeat bookings dishonestly obtained through Konnectam
• Misrepresenting Konnectam pricing

You are responsible for your:

• Tools
• Materials
• Safety gear
• Vehicle/transport
• Work methods

Where legally required, you are responsible for maintaining:

• Licenses
• Permits
• Certifications
• Insurance
• Tax compliance

Konnectam may assist with complaints or disputes but may determine platform outcomes based on available evidence.

You may not use Konnectam logos, branding, or marketing materials without permission except where officially provided.

Konnectam may suspend or terminate your account for:

• Breach of this Agreement
• Poor service quality
• Repeated complaints
• Fraud or misconduct
• Inactivity
• Legal or safety risks

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Konnectam Limited, its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, and partners from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or connected with:

• Your use of the Konnectam platform or Services
• Your violation of this Privacy Policy or applicable laws
• Your interactions or disputes with artisans, customers, or third parties
• Any misconduct, negligence, omission, or unlawful activity connected to your use of the platform

We may update this Agreement periodically. Continued use of Konnectam means acceptance of updated terms.

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
